What to see in Logroño: your city guide

Combine heritage, food and leisurely walks in Logroño. Choose the ideas that appeal to you and leave room for spontaneity rather than rushing from sight to sight.

Puente de Piedra over the Ebro river in Logroño

La Redonda and the old town

Start at Santa María de la Redonda co-cathedral and explore the old town’s streets and squares. Plaza del Mercado is a useful landmark. Check opening hours for churches and cultural venues, and respect any services or events taking place.

Calle Laurel and Mercado de San Blas

Make time for Calle Laurel and its pinchos culture, then visit Mercado de San Blas for local produce. For groups or dietary needs, check directly with each venue before dining.

A walk beside the Ebro

Slow down at Puente de Piedra and Parque del Ebro. Casa de las Ciencias is another riverside cultural stop; check its exhibitions and activities first. Include Paseo del Espolón in your city walk.

Two days in Logroño

Spend day one in the old town, La Redonda and its food scene. On day two, combine an Ebro walk with a winery or museum. If arriving late on Friday, book timed activities for Saturday and leave enough time after apartment check-in.

Museums, events and family outings

Check Casa de las Ciencias, Museo de La Rioja and the municipal events calendar. Alternate cultural visits with walks and rest when travelling with children. Winery activities have different age rules; check both ages and programme content.

Getting here and getting around

Before driving, check parking and vehicle restrictions around your apartment; do not assume you can stop at the door. Use official tourism information for current transport connections and timetables. We’ll coordinate arrival around your booking.

IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE DRIVING

Access to the old town.

The old town may have pedestrian streets and vehicle restrictions. Do not follow GPS all the way to your apartment without checking signs and access conditions. An accommodation booking alone does not authorise you to drive into the area.

If you need to approach for luggage drop-off or mobility reasons, check with Logroño Local Police first whether access can be authorised and how to apply. Have your number plate, accommodation address and planned date and time ready. Enter only when permitted and with authorisation if required.
